The hard part of music bingo was never the software. It is the songs. The Starter Kit hands you five playlists a room already loves, every track named and sourced, every start time already set, and your cards ready to print. A 4×4 night runs two or three of them, so five sets give you room to keep the mix fresh. Install today, host this week.
The Kit is bought inside Phenom Bingo, on the Subscriptions page. New to Phenom Bingo? Download it above, then open the Subscriptions page and the Starter Kit is waiting. Already have the app? Just open it, go to the Subscriptions page, and buy the Kit there. It runs on a Phenom Bingo subscription (currently $29 AUD a month on the Founding Host rate); if you are not subscribed yet, your first month is added at checkout.
Every new host hits the same wall. The app is installed, the night is booked, and there is not a single song in it yet. Sourcing a few hundred tracks. Levelling the volume so a quiet sixties number does not vanish under a modern banger. Finding the one recognisable moment in every song so the room calls it fast.
That is a month of evenings before you have played a single game. It is where most new hosts stall, and some never start at all.
The Starter Kit removes that month. You go from install to a full room in an evening.
These are not filler sets. They are five of the playlists we run in our own business, chosen on one test: can a room name the song inside fifteen seconds and shout the chorus back? Clean radio edits throughout, so they hold up at a family session or at eleven on a Friday.
Everyone has a car song. Fifty-nine of them, from Bon Jovi, Queen and Journey to Whitney, Celine and Foreigner. The spread runs from Ike & Tina to Tones And I, so grandparents, parents and their kids all find their songs on the same card.
Four notes of a riff and the room knows. Led Zeppelin, Queen and AC/DC at the heavy end, the Beatles and the Stones at the roots, Nirvana and Guns N' Roses for the attitude. No deep cuts, all shout-along.
Some artists need no introduction. Fifty-six of them, each represented by the track they will be remembered for. Elvis and Aretha at the foundations, Nirvana and Radiohead into the modern era, six decades without a single deep cut.
Disco, punk, stadium rock and singer-songwriter ballads, all sharing the same charts. ABBA and the Bee Gees on the floor, Fleetwood Mac and Bowie through the centre. The widest board in the set, so whoever is in the room, something here is theirs.
The last decade before the algorithm, when a song went huge because everyone heard it at once. Spice Girls and Backstreet Boys on the pop end, Coolio and Will Smith on the hip-hop, Blink-182 and the Goo Goo Dolls on the guitars.
Each set runs 50 to 60 songs, built for 4×4 grids (the size we use every week). A 4×4 game runs about 30 minutes, so a typical night is two or three playlists. Want to run 5×5 instead? Every playlist ships with an extension guide that names matching tracks to take it past 80, which plays as two rounds a night.
There is no guesswork and no data entry. Each playlist arrives as three files that do the setup for you.
Every track named, with the exact version and a direct link to where you download it. No wondering which "Shape of You" is the right one.
Each set is sized for 4×4. Want a 5×5 game? This names extra tracks that match the feel of the playlist, so you can push it past 80 songs without losing the vibe.
One import builds the playlist, sets every start time, and generates your cards. The work that used to take an evening happens in a click.
Inside Phenom Bingo, the Starter Pack tab holds your five playlists, ready to go.
Each track has a direct link. Media Manager checks your library first, so you only download what you are missing.
Run the files through Phenom VidFixr once. Every video comes out at a consistent volume.
One click builds the playlist, sets the start times, and creates your cards.
Print the cards or let players join on their phones. Press play.
You are never guessing which step you are on. A chaptered, start-to-finish training walkthrough is built right into the app, with clickable chapters so you land on the step you actually need.
The Kit gives you the content. These three tools turn it into a night, and the walkthrough uses all three in order.
Normalises the volume across every video so you are not riding the fader all night, and re-encodes any odd file to a standard MP4. Run your whole playlist through it in one pass.
Drop a playlist in and it tells you which songs your library already has, so you only download what is missing. It keeps your library clean and saves hours. Available with the packs only.
Finds the most recognisable 35 seconds of any song you add yourself, so every track hits its hook. Free to trial on ten songs. A full licence is $39 AUD, and it comes included with the Starter Kit Plus.
This installs the app. Open the Subscriptions page to buy the Kit. Already have Phenom Bingo? The Kit is on the Subscriptions page now.
Phenom Bingo runs on a subscription. Right now that is the Founding Host rate:
If you are already subscribed, the Starter Kit is simply $99. If you are not subscribed yet, your first month is added at checkout, so you can host straight away. The app shows this clearly before you commit.
The pack itself is yours. The Starter Pack tab stays even if your subscription later lapses, so the content you bought outright is always reachable.
Start with the Kit. If you want more range, the Starter Kit Plus gives you ten playlists and the Song Analyser licence. You can upgrade later and pay only the difference, never re-buying what you already own.

You can absolutely build your own, and Phenom Bingo makes it straightforward. The Kit just skips the slow part: sourcing, levelling and start times for five sets that are already proven to fill a room.
Licensing. The tracks you download through a music service are licensed to you for your own professional use, so you are covered playing them in venues. We cannot legally hand you the media files, so instead we give you the exact list and a direct link for every song. Media Manager and VidFixr then make the download and setup fast.
Phenom Bingo itself, the app that runs your night. It is currently $29 AUD a month on the Founding Host rate. If you are not already subscribed, your first month is added when you buy the Kit, so you are ready to host straight away.
Start with the Kit for five playlists. The Plus gives you ten (your pick of the thirteen best) and a full Phenom Song Analyser licence. If you start on the Kit and want more later, you upgrade and pay only the difference. You never re-buy what you own.
Ready. Importing a playlist generates your cards automatically. Print them to PDF, or let players join and play on their phones with no app to download.
The playlists are built for 4×4, which is what we run every week, at 50 to 60 songs each. Each one includes an extension guide that names matching tracks to take it past 80 songs for a 5×5 game.
Both. Phenom Bingo and all three tools run on macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel) and Windows 10 or 11.
Download Phenom Bingo below, then open the Subscriptions page inside the app and the Starter Kit ($99 AUD) is waiting. Already have Phenom Bingo? Just open the Subscriptions page and buy the Kit there.
